profile, where all the information that are contained in a
hard copy, can be presented in a website. Thus, any person

I am offering a one-day course
on how to design a typical website. After you
complete the course, you can go back to your
office to design a website of your own or for
your company. The course consists of the
following modules:- |

| 1. |
To design a website, you need a
Website Editor. To buy the Website Editor can be
quite costly. In this course, I am going to show you
how to download a Webpage Editor for free from
the internet. |
| 2. |
After you have
successfully downloaded the Webpage Editor for
free, I am going to show you, step by step, on
how to use it to design a 5-page website - |
| A. |
How to create a layout manually
followed by how to use the templates to choose a
layout that suits your taste. |
| B. |
After the layout has been
chosen, I shall show you how to insert text,
photos (images), hyperlinks and duplicate the
pages. |
| C. |
After you have done the texts
and the images on all the five web pages, I'm
going to show you how to retrieve the relevant
program from the Internet for free to upload
your 5 web pages into a server or webhost so
that your web pages can be viewed on the
Internet. |

After that, I am going to show
you how to "decorate" your website with some interesting Internet tools
like how to: |
| A. |
Insert counters to
inform you of the number of visitors, who have
visited
your website. I shall show you how to get these
counters for free from the Internet. |
| B. |
I shall show you how to get Feed
Form for free from the Internet. The Form can be
used to get comments from visitors who visited your website or as an
order form if you sell products on your website. |
| C. |
I shall show you how to insert a
video on your own webpage, where
you can share it with your visitors. |
| D. |
I shall show you how to insert a
song on your webpage so that visitors to your
website can hear the song while they surf
your website. Alternatively, the visitor can switch off
the music with just a click of the mouse if he
wishes not to hear the music when surfing your website. |
| E. |
I shall also show you how to
link your websites to other websites, which you
regularly go to, like The Star Online, Utusan
Malaysia, Harakah Daily and so on. |

At the end of the day,
after you have completed the course, your
websites would be uploaded to the web-host
server and you can see for yourself the web
pages that you have designed during the course. |

The course material would be handed out to you at the start of
the course. It can be used as your reference when you take
it home to do your own webpage design. |

The one-day course costs RM200.00 per person and includes
lunch and two tea-breaks.
|

You are expected to bring your own Note Book which has at
least a WiFi facility. If you have your own wireless
broadband, please bring it along with you as it is important
that you are connected to the Internet during the course.

9.00am to 5.00pm. The tea-break is at 10.00 am and 3.30pm and
lunch at 12.00pm to 1.00pm. We have 3 avenues for you to choose
