My Wedding |

I got married to Salmiah bt Abdul Rahman at 10.30 am on
Monday, 26th May 2008 at Surau As-Sahabah, Section 7, Kota
Damansara, Petaling Jaya, Selangor, where the "akad nikah"
was performed. The two (2) witnesses were my dear friend,
Adi Negara and Salmiah's younger brother, Ali. Shukor
Alhamdullillah, the "akad nikah" went ahead without a hitch.
Apart from her eldest sister, Kak Nur and her younger
brother, Ali and his family, all five of Salmiah's children
were also present that day. As for me, only my third son,
Jowin was present as the other eight (8) children of mine
were engaged somewhere else. |

| About a week later on 3rd June 08, we held a
wedding reception at Dungun, which is Salmiah's
kampung. It so happened that her younger brother,
Hosni was holding a wedding reception at Dungun on
2nd June 08 and since all the family members were
going to be there, we thought it appropriate to hold
our wedding reception a day later, i.e. on 3rd June
08. Apart from her family members. Salmiah
also invited her friends and office colleagues to
the reception. |
